Safestay PLC is a cutting-edge hostel chain based in London with 22 hostels in 11 different countries spread around Europe. The forward thinking, UK based Safestay Group PLC needed a flexible and customizable booking system that could connect to their hostel PMS (Cloudbeds MyfrontDesk) and help increase revenue while reducing manual data entry.

The Challenges && ObjectivesObjectives

Safestay have some of the world’s brightest hospitality marketing minds within their organisation and they decided that in order for their website to make the quantum leap in sales that they wanted it to, an out-of-the-box booking system would not be sufficient. Enter The Percentage Company. Safestay wanted to be able to simplify the hostel booking process for users, offer a great mobile booking experience while also adding a significant amount of new functionality in order to provide their growth marketing team with flexibility to adapt their marketing strategies.

The Solutions && ResultsResults

The solution was to build a cutting-edge, highly customisable hostel booking engine, which fully integrated with the Cloudbeds PMS & channel manager. In addition to improving the mobile user experience, the newly designed system also provides guests with the functionality to book multiple rooms, multiple offers & even multiple dates within a single reservation! The Safestay team had access to a huge arsenal of marketing tools to help maximise revenues.

What were the results? Over 38,000 website bookings, +74% year-on-year growth & 3.3% onlive booking conversion!
