The Patong Bay Hill Resort located in the center of Patong, Phuket is a newly opened spacious family resort with 365 rooms close to the Beach of Phuket’s busiest tourist hotspot. The Challenges && ObjectivesObjectives
Patong Bay Hill was a large (365 rooms) newly constructed property with very limited brand awareness & poor online distribution & limited direct sales, relying mostly on offline travel agents. The goal was to create a flexible, dynamic rate structure to allow space for a digital marketing strategy, which would then allow for the increase in online travel agent and direct website sales for the resort at a higher price point than the offline equivalent.
The Solutions && ResultsResults
The Percentage Company E-commerce & revenue managers created new rate structures, re-launched and optimised all online travel agent channel accounts along with a new high-converting website with custom booking engine solution, all managed and controlled by a newly installed Channel Manager solution.
What were the results? Year-on-year OTA room revenue increased by 11 times with more than 50 Million THB generated in the 1st year of operation!
